What is NetWork Links

This is an Aleph One product that allows your RISC OS Ethernet card to be used by your PC card and PC software that uses a NE2000-compatible ethernet card. This allows Windows for Work Groups to function and give the PC card access to servers and printers on the network. If you have a proxie server or Internet sharing box the PC card can also gain access to the internet.


Requirments for Network Links

Ethernet / Network card.

The main requirment is that you have a Ethernet / Network card fitted. The PC card will function more efficiantly with NetWork Links, if the network card can be configured in multiple or virtual mode.

Multiple / Virtual Mode

Minimum !PC versions for PC cards and expansion cards.

You can use NetWork Links for PC cards or PC expansion cards but the version of !PC must be 1.80 or greater.

PC podule.

You may upgrade PC expansion card software from this web site at Aleph One Software Revisions select the version for your expansion card.

PC card.

We recomend that you use PCPro3 however PCPro2 can be used or even the last free upgrade !PC v1.92 from Aleph One Software Revisions web page but we would recomend that you to upgrade to the latest PCPro 3.
