In order to make Lantastic 6.0 work with Network Links:

  1. Move the whole Lantastic network over to IEEE 802.3 frames and IPXpackets by using the IEEE parameter with the card driver, and theIPX_ROUTING parameter with AILANBIOS, so;

    NEX000 IEEE (or whatever card is in use)AILANBIO @STARTNET.CFG IPX_ROUTINGREDIR [machine name, etc.]
    You must change every machine in the network.

  2. Use i) MS-DOS not PC-DOS, and ii) the Novell ODI drivers for theAcorn machine. The load sequence is;

    LSLNE2000AI-ODI IPX_ROUTINGAILANBIO @STARTNET.CFG IPX_ROUTINGREDIR [machine name, etc]
  3. The NET.CFG should read:

      LINK DRIVER NE2000        INT 5        PORT 340        FRAME ETHERNET_802.3  PROTOCOL AI-ODI        BIND #1
This Lantastic network has been tested with the following softwarecomponent versions:
!PCx86 V1.91
PCNE2 V1.87
LSL.COM V2.05
NE2000.COM V1.54
AI-ODI.EXE V1.00.07
